The following state or national organizations work closely with local land conservancies.
The Land Trust Alliance, with headquarters in Washington, DC is the national leader in providing information and resources for local land conservancies. They also provide access to the best insurance policies for land conservancies.
The Trust for Public Land, with headquarters in San Francisco, is one of the leading land protection organizations in California. Their staff of legal and real estate specialists can be very helpful to local land conservancies. They also produce an excellent newsletter especially for land conservancies.
The Coastal Conservancy is a state-chartered conservancy that acts with others, including local conservancies, to preserve, protect and restore the resources of the California Coast.
